• Asa Clark Middle School is home to the Pewaukee School District's sixth, seventh and eighth graders. The Principal is Anthony Pizzo and the Associate Principal is Katie Spadoni. Asa Clark Middle School and the three other schools are located on one school campus. The school day starts at 7:20 a.m. and ends at 2:25 p.m.

Those new to the Pewaukee area may wonder why only one of the four schools in the Pewaukee School District has a person's name tied to the school name. The middle school was named in honor of the person, Asa Clark, who started the first school in Pewaukee in his parlor for three years from 1840 to 1843. Mary Williams of Waukesha was the first teacher. In 1843 the first school was built with log benches for seating at the present site of the First Baptist Church at the corner of Main St. and Prospect Ave.
